B2B Cluster; Commonwealth Connectivity Agenda
We are the Co-Chair of the Commonwealth Connectivity Agenda B2B Cluster; Legal Reform and Digitalisation Working Group, launched in 2023 with the COMESA Business Council and Bangladesh government. This is the largest implementation programme in world trade with 56 countries working together to address legal barriers, build local capacity and share international best practice. The Commonwealth programme is playing a key role in delivering at scale and aligning approaches across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Pacific as well as economies large and small.
Quantitative Analysis of the Move to Paperless Trade
Our 2021 UK and G7 business cases to promote legal reform helped initiate the Commonwealth business case in the same year. This lead to a commitment from Commonwealth Trade Ministers to launch the Legal Reform and Digitalisation Working Group in 2023.
